*Dynnnad has left us as founder. A million thanks to him for creating this group. I'm stepping in in his place- pleased to meet all of you!

Secondly
I'm going to be working to organize this group a little more than it is right now. Here's a list of the major changes.

Until the organizing is finished, submissions to the Featured folder will be closed. Please sort your pieces into the proper subfolder.
-The reason: as of right now, finding anything in this group is difficult. Most submissions are being places into the Featured folder, leaving it a jumbled mess. I will be going through and relocating images into their proper folders. It might take awhile (this folder has several hundred images), so please, bear with me.

The Airshows folder will be locked until I can sort everything out of it, and then deleted.
-The reason: Most of the submissions in this group are pictures taken at airshows. Having an Airshow folder at the same time as a Military or Commercial folder is redundant. :]

A WWII Era and Older Planes folder will be added. This is pretty self-explanatory. If you feel there's a conflict (such as your plane is WWI era, but a military plane), place it into this folder to be safe.

A Drawings, Diagrams, and 3D folder will be added, for any submission that isn't a photograph~

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns about these changes, please comment on this journal or note me. I'm always open to suggestions... and I'd also like to try to avoid becoming the new group leader who comes in and steps on everyone's toes. :]

Thirdly
`Rushy has brought it to my attention that the XH558 may be taken out of the air for the 2011 season. The petition to try and save it is here: [link] If anyone is interested in donating to  try and help, please do so!
